During my internship with the Athletic Communications Department, I contributed to a range of media and communications projects that strengthened my skills in sports reporting, digital content creation, and collaborative production. I assisted in researching and writing post-game stories, developing feature articles, and conducting research. I also utilized photo editing and design software to produce engaging social media posts before, during, and after athletic events. Through this hands-on experience, I enhanced my technical proficiency across various digital tools while supporting department staff in daily operations—helping streamline workflows and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

I conducted extensive research on the story of international athletes from Queen's University who competed in the World Games this past summer. While the department ultimately finalized the piece, my contributions insights were integral to its development. This article not only highlights their remarkable achievements but also their personal statements reflecting on their experiences during the competition.
